Karissa is incredible! Truly a master artist and very knowledgeable. Karissa is very kind and friendly; I really felt comfortable. I showed her examples of what I liked or had in mind for my bridal look; and every example she would ask what I liked most about the look. From there she was able to piece together a bridal look that was unique to me. She highlighted and amplified my natural beauty. I truly felt like a beautiful bride, the most beautiful that I have ever felt. 

Karissa also did my bridesmaids and my mom's make up for the wedding, and their results were incredibly beautiful. My mom was so impressed; she thanked me for hiring Karissa and told me that she felt so beautiful that day. As a daughter that meant the world to me.  

Karissa also gave me a lot of helpful skincare and makeup tips which I really appreciated. If I liked a product she used, she would send me a picture of it for reference. My makeup was flawless, I got airbrush which I never tried before and I am so glad I went with it for my wedding day. My look lasted the entire day, literally the entire day! From morning to night; from ceremony to dancing. I didn't feel the need to even touch up once which was impressive. I have sensitive skin prone to breakouts, and the make-up did not irritate my face at all. My skin after the wedding was completely fine and felt great; I did not have any breakouts on my honeymoon.

I cannot say enough great things about Karissa. I had originally booked another artist for my wedding, and after postponing several times, my original artist didn't work out and I came across Karissa online. THANK GOODNESS for that, because she ended up being so much better than my original artist. 

Karissa is extremely skilled at both hair and makeup. She was able to identify the look I wanted and nailed it. The makeup was not overly heavy, but showed beautifully on camera and lasted all day and night. My husband said that the first thing he noticed about me on our wedding day was my makeup and how beautiful I looked. She also did a great job with my hair, which usually has trouble holding a style, but not with Karissa's work.

Karissa also did the makeup of my mom and hair and makeup of my MOH. They were both so happy with her and we all felt beautiful. 

In addition to her skill, Karissa is extremely professional and communicative. This was not what I experienced with my previous artist, so it was such a pleasant surprise. Karissa is also just a really likable person and I enjoyed chatting with her during my trial and on my wedding day.

I've had the pleasure to work with Karissa during my modeling days and also recently last year for my wedding. Karissa did my makeup for one of my first few photoshoots and it went on my list of favorite shoots to this day because she enhanced my features so well and of course we had an amazing photographer to capture it all. I clearly remember her professionalism, punctuality, attention to detail, cleanliness, preparation and organization. What stood out to me the most from other makeup artists that I worked with is the way she prepped the skin before applying makeup. She would clean my skin and apply gently, a few good skin care products to my face that made me feel clean and moisturized with a dewy complexion. The way she applied makeup was quick and gentle and she always did a beautiful job blending and highlighting. My favorite part was the airbrushing because it felt relaxing and soothing on my skin. If I wanted to make tweaks to my look, she always listened and made it work nicely. She was definitely good at taking feedback and accommodating by offering more options. In regards to hair styling, Karissa styled my hair for the first time last year for my wedding. We had a preview a few months before the wedding for my makeup and hair. I was shocked how fast Karissa learned to style hair and was able to create the exact style that I wanted. I had a few last minute changes for my hair and makeup, but she made it work. Not only is she skilled at her job, but she is also very knowledgeable because she does her research and is always learning and staying on top of the latest trends and styles. She also has a lovely personality and is easy to work with. I could go on, but I think I made my point clear. ;) Karissa is an incredible makeup artist and hair stylist and I would highly recommend her for your next event.

Karissa did my hair and makeup for a VERY early morning shoot. She arrived right on time at 2:00am! She is extremely professional and amazing at what she does. I am a very indecisive person when it comes to my hair, but Karissa was very patient with me and made sure I felt great about my overall look.  

I just recently got back some of my photos and I literally cannot stop looking at them because I am so beautiful! I cannot believe that it is really me in those photos! Karissa did my makeup for a wedding I was MOH in. She did an AMAZING JOB! I've had my makeup done professionally twice before (for other weddings) but always turned a little Orange before the end of the night. That did NOT happen with Karissa! The makeup was absolutely spot on to what I was looking for and lasted all night with no issues. Honestly the best experience I've had with a MUA thus far and can't imagine going to anyone else for future needs. 

Karissa is down to earth, friendly, and very professional. She was extremely safe (COVID and sanitation wise) and very patient!

She’s an amazing artist, very professional. She did my makeup for Halloween and it was the best Halloween I have ever had. I had a lot of compliments and recommended Karissa. Out of all the people I know that does Hair and makeup, I always recommend Karissa, she’s impeccable. 

Karissa did my makeup for my engagement photos and I’ve never felt more beautiful!! Not only was she a joy to work with but she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed (which was super important since I was a little nervous about the photoshoot!). Karissa was absolutely amazing! During my consulting/trial session with her, she took her time to really understand what I liked and didn't like and was so genuine. She really cares about her clients. She did an AMAZING job and is a pro with contouring and airbrush! Karissa did my makeup for my engagement photos and wedding. I would highly recommend Karissa! At the consultation she asked questions about the look/style I was going for (more natural) and was able to make suggestions as to what would look best on me. She also did a great job making slight adjustments the day of to match my newly dyed hair. She also did my mother’s makeup, who was very pleased with her look as well. 

Karissa did an amazing job on my make up for my wedding!! She offered a preview where she was very receptive to the look that I wanted and everything turned out beautifully both on the preview day as well as the wedding day. She did my mom's make up as well as my mother in-laws and mine. Everyone's make-up came out beautifully. She was on time and very well organized. I was ultra stressed out but she was very patient and made me feel at ease. Karissa did the makeup for my wedding in May of 2014. She was amazing!! Her airbrushing technique was perfect and my skin looked flawless. She came fully prepared and her knowledge of beauty is impressive 

I hired Karissa to do my make up for my book release party after she showed me photographs of her work. The products she used were light, airy, high quality and felt great on my face. I was pleasantly surprised that after 8 hours of intense running around/party hosting that my look was still beautifully intact. She executed the look I envisioned perfectly, and came to my home with her equipment so that I could continue to get ready within my own household at my convenience. She was accommodating, on time, had a great attitude, and was extremely professional. I would highly recommend Karissa for any event, wedding, or any other gathering in between!

Karissa did my hair & makeup for my wedding day and she is the most amazing artist! She is beyond talented and also SO kind. During my bridal trial with her, she was patient and helped me decide what to do with my hair for my wedding day. She even texted me different ideas after I left to make sure I was satisfied. Then when I wanted something different on my actual wedding day, she made the change super easily and it turned out amazing! She is SO SO amazing at makeup as well! I wanted something that was natural but that also popped and was glamorous...she completed everything I could've ever imagined for my big day. I was so obsessed with both my hair and makeup! She also takes great pride in the sanitization and cleanliness of all her brushes and how she applies your makeup (even before COVID hit) to make sure it's safe. I can't say enough good things about her and her work! Thank you again, Karissa!

Karissa does an amazing job! I cannot say enough good things about her. Being an out of state bride was extremely daunting when booking vendors for our wedding. Karissa was in communication with me before we even left for California. She was really easy to work with; I sent her Pinterest looks of things I was interested in and she helped me pick a look that was best suited for myself. She was really patient and listened to everything that I wanted done. Karissa came to my hotel room for the trial the day before the wedding allowing me and my family to spend more time at the resort versus having to come to her. The day of my wedding she came right on time and took her time making sure my maid of honor, my four year old and myself were happy. I especially cannot thank her enough for being patient and listening to what my four year old wanted. It takes a skilled person to work with a wiggly four year old. If I ever have a special event or photos done in California I will book her again in a heartbeat! Karissa helped me feel relaxed and confident going into my wedding; I cannot say enough good praises!

I recently had my make up done by Karissa for my engagement shoot, and she really is one of the best in the biz. I do not wear a lot of make up, and wasn't sure the exact look I was going for, and she was so helpful in finding the best, natural look for me. I was so happy with how the make up turned out, and it looked fab in the pictures. Karissa is super dedicated to making you feel comfortable and beautiful. And to top it off, she is also just super nice, and super easy/fun to be around so will make your day even better and stress-free!

Karissa was professional and although many denied me service due to the early wedding time and the girls I had ( 6 at the time) it was a lot for them to do I guess but not for Karissa. She took on my bride tribe which ended up being 5 and alone and she did a wonderful job doing so. I had one makeup service and the rest hair service and we loved the styles she created and the makeup that was done. I recommend!

Karissa made my whole bridal experience so much easier! She worked around my schedule for the preview and even drove to me! During the preview, she really made sure I liked everything about my hair. She even had me update her throughout the day on how well the hair held what could have been done differently, etc. The day of, everyone's hair and makeup stayed in place for 8+ hours even through all the dancing! Hair and makeup is crucial for every bride on their special day but I wasn't worried at all because I knew Karissa got it handled. She truly has a talent and brings out your natural and beautiful self. Thank you so much Karissa!!

sure I got what I wanted, but she checked in with me multiple times throughout the process to make sure I was getting what I asked for.
